Hawthorn Court Development is located on 54 acres at the northern edge of the Iowa State University Campus. It is a residential community consisting of 23 apartment buildings organized around seven neighborhood courtyards. The two- and four-bedroom student apartments offer a full kitchen, living and dining areas, laundry facilities, and bathing compartments. The apartments are available for both upper-class undergraduate and graduate students.
