At the heart of this new residential complex is the Hawthorn Court Community Center, a living and learning environment that provides a wide range of student services. The 10,800-sq. ft., one-story center serves a dual purpose on campus. Primarily designed as a dining facility with multiple venues, the building has seating for 125 students in its main dining room, private dining room, grillside seating and cafe. The main dining space takes advantage of natural lighting, overlooks the campus green, and provides access to a southside plaza with outdoor seating. Secondly, the community center offers many other essential student services such as: student meeting and classroom space, convenience store, and a fitness center.
